A right to not be shot......where is that at?

you're talking about shooting people unlawfully being a criminal act, fine. is there a RIGHT to not be SHOT?????

it's unsettling for most people to be shown the reality that their government isn't their benevolent protector, or that they are actually going to be beholden to fulfilling their constitutionally assigned role. It's why most posts of mine are ridiculed or met with insults.

All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

I suspect many of your posts are ridiculed or met with insults...because YOU resort to ridicule and hurling insults in so many of YOUR posts.

I suspect that has A LOT more to do with the ridicule and insults...than that you supposedly "tell truths."

Actually, the "revolution" is based on these people violating the core principle of the Declaration of Independence, alienating their rights, including their right to life, surrendering it to government's care and consideration.

Such a conflict of concepts, an exclamation of confusion, couldn't be depicted any more clearly.

...a group wanting not to be governed.

But society and true freedom are a function of government.

Less and less government leads to anarchy and chaos.

But American conservatives...just as with Donald Trump...dream up simplistic and unworkable solutions for problems that are a natural part of society.

Some of the remarks made in this forum by American conservatives and by libertarians...

...should disgust anyone with any who can actually think.

I've never heard anyone argue for a "police state"...and accepting that society needs rules and laws DOES NOT equal wanting a "police state"...except for the nut-cases that now make up the core of American conservatism and the libertarians.

Wanting decent governance is NOT a desire for slavery.

A decent case can be made that libertarianism...and the disgusting thing that American conservatism has become...is a recipe for anarchy and chaos.

The people heading in that direction can NEVER WIN...because even if they prevail, they will be losers just like everyone else will be.

They are just too ignorant and close-minded to realize it.
