You R's are so screwed! Is there anything this guy can't do? Poor Republicans and their clown car of candidates.

"Lots of people get giddy following even the briefest encounters with a president. But one Washington-area college student was especially elated that President Obama understood what he was saying. Or signing.

As first reported on Distriction, Stephon, a student at Prince George Community College, was standing in line after an event on energy policy with President Obama and Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley, waiting for a chance to shake hands with the president. As the president was shaking hands and making his way through the crowd, he met up with Stephon, who was born deaf.

"I am proud of you," Stephon signed to the president.

Not missing a beat, President Obama signed back: "Thank you."

Another deaf student then signed to the president, "I love you." The president smiled back at her and shook her hand.

An elated Stephon later recounted his experience on YouTube via American Sign Language. Watch video.
 
how does the deaf college student feel about obama signing the NDAA, or extending the patriot act, or removing the 1st Amendment around anyone the secret service is protecting?

And we thought Clinton was slick......Obama is head and shoulders above Clinton.....he is the Pied Piper and Elmer Gantry of this modern era....

But to answer your question.....its more than obvious the only thing he is incapable of doing is actually leading the country in a meaningful direction and

improving the economy and unemployment.

Bask in what? $5 Trillion in Debt? More to come? A monstrosity of a health care bill? The failure to regulate Wall Street? The failure to lead his party to actually pass a budget? His inept handling of energy policy? His catering non-stop to unions?

What exactly are we to bask in? The prospect of the higher taxes to come? Continued unemployment over 8%? Do tell.

You should try looking at the direction of the polls. Obama's favorability ratings are declining.

Right now the Reps are attacking one another and to a lesser degree going after Obama. Once it is a one on one situation, things have the potential to change.

Obviously a lot can change between now and then economically. To proclaim the Reps have dwindling chances as Obama's numbers fall is putting the cart a few miles ahead of the horse.

It's hillareous afeter what Obama has done to dig us out of the major shit hole the previous Repelican administration left us in and their comments laughable as hell considering W was the most inept US President since Warren G. Harding. I think what's the most funny is how Obama's administration has so outclassed and outperformed W on the defense front.

I mean after W why in the world would I vote for someone as incompetent at governance as Republicans have been?

Not to mention the fact that certain liberal morons like to whitewash their parties involvement in the economic meltdown. You see when Bush was President he controlled everything and when necessary the 'worst President/dumbest President' tricked all those intellectually superior Democrats. But when Obama is President, he doesn't control anything... its all just happening and nothing can be done.

But wait... he knows how to sign... so Republicans are doomed.

Look, I put up with the tax and spend liberals in the 70's now were burdoned with the far worse and ideologically driven cut taxes and spend far more Repelicans. My point being is they have no credibility what so ever when they criticize Obama on this issue. They just simply don't have a leg to stand on.

I actually know how to sign, more than just "thank you" too... Does that make Obama doomed because I'm not a democrat? Sweet.

Dubya didn't have to trick any Democrats...your party held BOTH HOUSES of Congress AND the White House for 6 long years and absolutely refused to let any Democrat contribute anything that might have slowed or halted the economic meltdown.
