A smarter way forward for real conservatives, for America

Un huh, well son, we have a saying where I come from. "Don't piss up wind and tell me it's raining."

You can deny the racial codel language all you want to but your not kidding anyone but your self.

That's the point. They KNOW the racists are there .. they absolutely know it .. yet they refuse to even acknowledge it when it's overt and blatant.

They refuse to even acknowledge Nixon's strategy to openly court racists and lunatics.

But it isn't just the racists republicans will have to dump, it's also the screaming lunatics who resist civil discourse on important issues.

Even the simple understanding of changing demographics in America dictates that republicans must seek a better course.

Can you think of an example of "racist code language"? Mott The hoople can't.

Just about every caption and premise you've posted IS ABSOLUTE BULLSHIT.

Not having to worry about something does not equal "Is going to pay for my...This is just a blatant lie on its ass and completely ignores the fact that Republicans have widely and continue to support measures that have lead to high gas prices.

This is where our cultural differences clash. See, here in the north, encouraging kids to do things like learn, get along, study and ultimately graduate is considered a good thing. But feel free to have your kids sing about shooting bambi, burning crosses and wrestling alligators. Its still a free country you know....so feel free to be you.

Been there, done that.....kids were singing Bush's praises for Katrina despite his utter failure. Where was your faux rage when that was going on?

Actually, you are incorrect... the Katrina song (while idiotic) was singing the praises of the leadership in DC (again Idiotic)... it was not just directed to Bush. It was Bush, Congress and FEMA... ie... the entire leadership in DC. Again, while idiotic in its own right, it is not the same.

sorry, you mean the most incompetent person to sit in the WH before 2009......
That's a laugh. Obama has a whole lot more fucking up to do to even remotely approach Bush's record of ineptitude. Like I said, you supported Bush, what would you know about competence? Can you say "No credibility?"

Are you joking? Of course I can.

You're free to engage in the bullshit madness of "Racist, who me?" that the right-wing loves to play these days if you choose .. and you can promote the strawman of anyone who is against Obama is called a racist if you choose .. but both are mindlessly ridiculous mindfuck games played by unintelligent people.

I'm against Obama and the ONLY ones who call me a racist is people like you and those who are actually racist .. which does suggest that I'm calling you a racist.

I have white friends who are loudly and vocally against Obama policies even though they voted for him .. and NOBODY is calling them racist.

There are any number of left-wing and even black organizations and media who oppose many of Obama's policies .. no one calls them racists except actual racists.

The difference is that none of the above is standing next to anyone with Obama depicted as a monkey in their disagreement with his policies .. EXCEPT actual racists and those who are their whores, like republicans.

The language aboiut secession THAT IS PROMOTED ONLY IN THE SOUTH is full of racist coding.

Dude, there is a plethora of racist material, code words, and offensive language being used against Obama .. and I could EASILY post many websites on the right that are dedicated to doing just that .. but I refuse to advertise for them and give the racists here another outlet for their madness.

Feel free to pretend all you want brother.

All the criticism against Obama is not racist .. but ALL the racists who promote obvious and blatant racism are ALL on only one side of the fence.

But where is an example of "racist code language"?

Do you believe calling him sarcastically "the Messiah" is racist, as mott the dunce asserted?

I don't disagree with Mott, even though I don't believe that everyone who used the term "messiah", "the one" is a racist, and I don't believe that is what Mott was suggesting.

Here's the stupid part brother .. YOU KNOW there are many racists on your side of the fence who hate and stand against Obama bevause he's black.

You may be silly at times .. but you ain't stupid brother. You KNOW they are there.

"See no evil" ain't working.

Question: You aren't a racist .. so why not call them out?

It is what he was suggesting. I asked what was an example of racist code language and he said calling Obama the Messiah is an example. Reread if you need to clear it up for yourelf.

I don't know any people against obama for anything other than policy. Seriously.

I accept that as sincere.

I hate to say this, but I agree with Asshat on this. This is not about his being black. This is about all the fawning over Obama in the election cycle. This also not to state that ALL blacks/dems/liberals felt or acted this way. But there was most certainly a reverential attitude towards Obama. I think that has certainly fallen off as the partisans who felt this way have removed their blinders and awoken to reality.

I have called him both "the One" and "the Messiah" to mock those who thought Obama was going to bring all this "change" and 'bring back the FDR/LBJ type of liberal new deal programs' and 'make the world love and respect us again' blah blah blah.... It was infatuation to an obnoxious degree.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm reading into this that the RW wasn't looking for significant change, was, in fact, content with the status quo, before the last election. McCain wasn't promising any noteworthy changes from bush.

If everything was going well during the last eight years, why would so many people have been eager for change?

IMO calling Obama "Messiah" and "the One" was just a snarky acknowledgement that he captured the attention of the majority, and that McCain was rudderless and impotent.

I can say it freely, if I can associate it with your name....Obama has managed to outspend not only the Bush deficit of the last eight years, but the combined national debt of every president who's ever been elected.....and he's managed to do it in only eight months....as I recall, excessive spending is one of the things that Obama criticized to win the election.....along with ending the war and closing Guantanamo......even SNL recognizes ineptitude when it see it, why can't you?......

Sorry, that does not refute what Mott has said.

You KNOW the racist element exists even if you don't know them personally.

This game is silly.

a racist element?.....a handful....certainly no more than those blacks who view every white person with prejudice....it balances out.....

there are plenty of reasons to hate Obama's liberal policies without wasting time arguing about race......

lol....you might as well argue that Jesus Christ was the Messiah simply because everyone hated Satan.....

I can't speak for the RW, but I would agree that while McCain would certainly have been a huge upgrade over Bush, many policy positions would not have changed. I never stated anything was going well... I think the fact that Bush screwed so many things up is the reason so many on the left fell so hard for Obama.

I do believe it was indeed 'snarky'/sarcastic etc.... as many on the left became infatuated with the man. I admit, he is a very charismatic individual and to a degree I can see why people flocked to his side in support. The 'Messiah' and 'The One' etc... were mocking, not Obama, but his supporters who bought into his message so heavily that it was nauseating. That said, it wasn't done because of Obama's race as Mott suggested. THAT said, I am not implying that there aren't racists in the Rep Party (or on the right). I am simply stating that these were not racist code words as Mott stated.

Saying that racism exists has nothing to do with this discussion. We all know it exists. But calling Obama 'the Messiah' or 'the One' is not racist. It was mocking his followers that fell so in love with the man and all the "change" he promised them.
