Biden was a victim of three things- AGE, AGEISM, and a speech impediment problem that he has had all of his life, got more severe as he got older, but played a significant role in the AGEISM surrounding public opinion, and his decision to stop down. People's perspectives being accurate or perceived out of ignorance, POLITICAL MOTIVATION, or confusion doesn't really matter, when the stakes are so high in an upcoming election.

The facts remain that Biden was definitely OLD, and Old people are naturally hindered with less energy, slower movements, and slower thinking, focus, and abilities required to do such a high profile job, that demands lots of energy, and the hectic busy schedule of the office of the presidency.

Yes, he was old- 82 years old is old!

He has not had any strokes. He is not even unhealthy for his age.

He is not senile! HE IS A STUTTERER, and has been all of his life.

But, HE decided to not run for office!

He just had to be convinced that he was losing the election because people, in general, felt he was too old.

So he announced his retirement and his decision to retire at the end of his term.

Biden wants what is best for America, and realized that his VP had a better chance at winning than he did himself.

So let's not make this any more complicated than what this is.
