A third healthcare option?

Taichiliberal

Shaken, not stirred!
Wouldn’t it be great if you had a job that would still be waiting for you after 3 heart attacks in a row and unspecified sick leave? And a full, state of the art health coverage insurance company that would stand by you and not increase your rates despite 2 more heart attacks AFTER you retired? For more information, please call former Vice President Richard Cheney. Most likely, you’ll get his voice mail. ;)

I did not realize the VP Cheney was still working. But then again, when Clinton when into the hospital for his new pig heart, they stated in the news that he should be back to work in no time at all. I guess chasing after interns is considered a job. Sign me up.

:palm: That's why I mentioned that he's the FORMER Vice President, you twit! Learn to read, will ya?

Yes, Slick Willy is under a similar health insurance plan too (note that ALL his major medical problems occured AFTER he finished his two terms)....THAT'S MY POINT! The major difference is that the Slickster DOES NOT belong to the Party of NO, who seem to have no problem with insurance companies that let there membership unnecessarily suffer and die in order to keep their profit margins in the black.

Get it now, bunky?

yurtle? wow, how original touchyliberal

As opposed to your kindergarten interpretation of taichiliberal? Seems an accurate, albeit cynical assessment of the hypocritical stance of people like Cheney on healthcare reform is too much for your fevered little brain to handle. That's okay.....I forgot how mentally fragile you neocon parrots are. I let you prattle on, and come back if you've got anything useful to add. :cof1:

Wish Van Helsing would drive a stake through cheney's black, withered ticker already. :(

Sheesh!! What the hell is wrong with you?

Sheesh, read a book for a change.

I'll give more consideration to your comments when you show the same outrage over your pal webway's regular violent slams, like this one: "What the hell are gays doing in Texas. I thought their was a state law to shoot them on sight?"

Are you calling Republicans hypocrites for accepting the benefits of their own employee health care plans?

Quite frankly, I was surprised by your comment. I thought you had more class. That's Prakosh trash talk.

I use universal healthcare all the time. It is my primary health care provider. I have been sick for 2 1/2 weeks now. Head congestion, my eardrum burst 2 Sunday's ago...went to the emergency room and got 2 shots and a supply of Amoxicillan. The congestion moved to the other ear, then to a sore throat, then my eye got some kind of gook in it and is really red. I figure it is all related. Emergency room Dr. said to go to Family Practice in a couple of weeks to get the eardrum re-evaluated. Can't get an appointment during that time so have to go as a "walk-in" yesterday. Got there, checked in, sat down & waited for 20 minutes. Some lady comes out and says, "If you are here as a walk-in we have cancelled all walk-in visits for today. If you are really bad you are welcome to go to the emergency room. Sorry." I am not emergency room sick so I just went home. Is this how it works in the real world of Doctors and hospitals or is this just isolated to my universal health care system?

It isn't how mine works.

Still no comment about your conservative pals like webway who talk that way all the time, apparently with your blessing?

Webbway's a fucking troll. I don't expect leftists to apologize for the insane ranting of Canadian Kid, so I would think the same line should be held for other asshole trolls as well. Similarly, the mentally insane shouldn't have to answer for Asshate.

He is a MAJOR POS....and the country will be paying for his actions for years to come. What's truly disgusting is that you see him now MORE than the 8 years of the Shrub reign....he just can't stand the idea that the mythology of the Shrub era is being challenged. He doesn't give a damn about America....it's his PNAC ideology that only matters.

I'm calling them and ALL politicos in Congress and Senate hypocrits for railing/stone walling against the average citizen from getting anything NEAR that type of health care. Honest, hardworking people who saved money, followed the rules and then go bankrupt because they get sick and their HMO/insurance company screws them.....or they die because the same company denies coverage for their treatment.

Dead Eye Dick wouldn't have lasted in the private employment sector with his medical record unless he was the founder of a company. But hey, he's GOT his, so it's all about the ideology and bucks for his buddies....screw you and me. Hope you realize that.
