“When asked if immigration is generally a good thing or bad thing for the country, a record-high 79% of U.S. adults call it a good thing; a record-low 17% see it as a bad thing.”

“Support is also lower today for deporting all undocumented immigrants, with 38% now favoring this as the administration is attempting it, down from 47% last year when it was a Trump campaign promise. Meanwhile, support for allowing undocumented immigrants to become U.S. citizens has risen to 78%“

U.S. adults who say some immigrants living in the country illegally should be deported have varying views of who should be removed. Nearly all (97%) support deporting those who have committed violent crimes.

These screwball lefties can't seem to understand the difference between illegal and legal immigration. For the most part, these dem loons prefer to
coddle biden's criminal illegals and support the defunding of our police and the big payoff to these current violent goons who are attacking our
I.C.E. officers almost on a daily basis. One can't be more anti American than what we have with this current democrat/communist party. Wait, what's this I hear......dems are pushing for the communist Mamdani to run for president in 2028. Forget about him running for mayor of N.Y.C. for that city is already on the road to Marxist ruin.
 
If the parents and families of the victims of violent illegals were asked about deportations, I would expect 100% approval. The parents of Laken Riley and other victims surely support deportations. They matter even if the Democrats in Congress would not stand when they were honored.

We are all potential victims of these violent illegal gangs and terrorists.

The Laken Riley Act, signed into law on Jan. 29, 2025, mandates the detention without bail of certain noncitizens arrested or charged with certain crimes. The crimes include burglary, theft, larceny, shoplifting, assaulting a police officer, or crimes that result in death or serious bodily injury.

Thirty-five Senate Democrats voted against advancing this bill.
