It depends upon a few facts. It could go either way depending upon your political ideology, if you are a socialist fascist prick then of course your personal right to privacy in order to avoid societal embarrassment certainly outweigh's the right of your own child to live. :)

The question, to me is, when does the fetus attain rights as a human. To me, in the first three months, there is enough question that it should be left up to the pregnant woman.

its a shame you know so little about science that you cannot distinguish between human tissue and human beings.....a zygote is not the same human being as either of the human beings who gave up the human tissue of the sperm or the egg that were involved in the conception.........

Then you are out of step with your own party. That isn't the position they take. But, I agree with Damo. This is about the most tedious conversation that one can have on the interwebs. I don't know anyone who has changed their mind on the issue of abortion based on something on a political message board
