My cousin went from the Army to being a police officer in Phila. He's glad he's retired. He said he'd hate to be a cop right now.
And if we dont change this fast good people generally will not agree to be cops.....we will get only the bad people....the ones who are out to settle scores and abuse people.
We dont know if the D's are burning America down because they are stupid or if it is because they are evil....but I am not sure I should care which is the catastrophic failure.
That is an on-going problem too. Also, no one knows how they will react under pressure, even if someone is just running away from them. Just about everyone who tries to elude the police get caught (trust me on this!).
At this point, I'd say they are both. Everything has gotten out of hand...
Heather says that we are dealing with children in the bodies of adults.... they were never educated, they have been lied to their whole lives, their parents generally suck, most of them barely ever touched a church.....they are unformed.....and they are angry because to some degree they know that they have been betrayed....that they have been left not prepared for life.
Blame the schools. Kids spend more time in school than with their parents. Ever got swats for misbehaving in grade school? Middle school? I got more than my share. A teacher would go to jail now for correcting a child, much less giving them a couple of swats across the ass with a paddle. Schools are supposed to teach kids how to prepare for life, just as colleges are. They aren't doing such a good job.
That is only the beginning of the problem.....but ya....one of my kids is a Regressive Leftist.....5 years at university of Washington just as it was getting really bad was something that I failed at inoculating against....I never noticed how bad the problem was till it was too late, had I I would have done more.

A friend's daughter went on the protesting kick too. There were 15, maybe 20 protesters. They were peaceful, stayed on the sidewalks and moved for pedestrians walking by.
He says he just shakes his head and is glad she isn't a troublemaker.
It is way the fuck more consequential than protesting, for instance her hostility towards the concept of the nuclear family has been very damaging, she cant even show up to Thanksgiving and stay civil.

The way police do their jobs is what causes this pressure. They see every person as an enemy and they treat them as such. There is no respect given to the people they encounter. Cops are brutal and step over the lines repeatedly. The people they encounter know what is coming. Police, heal yourselves.
