Remember how retired ppl used to volunteer (and still do in some areas) to be crossing guards at public schools? Maybe some of these patriots with their well-humped guns should be putting their bullets where their braggart mouths are and volunteering at their local schools to patrol inside and out and keep out shooters. After all, if you're going to brag on an anonymous politics forum about your firepower, your skill, your expertise, and your bravery -- shouldn't you be putting all that to good use for the good of the nation? And wouldn't this help keep saner ppl from wanting to take your beloved bang-bangs away?

I’m reminded of a story that some wild life biologists told me years ago. They went to college and obtained advanced degrees in the science and were employed as professionals in the field. They had endless arguments with hunters, who thought they were the experts simply because they had shot some game.
