Ad, Banned from the Superbowl.

Yeah, not really. Guns sales, to every customer, don't evenbtop a billion dollars, and that's including military contracts. If a manufacturer makes 5% profits they're doing extraordinary sales.
Assuming, arguendo, that your 5% figure is anywhere near accurate, you ought to factor in the costs for lobbying (which includes costs for all methods of pro gun propaganda), CEO pay during this boom, and bonuses to same.

Then you'll get an accurate picture of actual profits.

The rise in sales was reflected in all the different firearms, which include M&P™ branded products, such as pistols, modern sporting rifles, and the recently launched Shield™ pistol.
The company posted a gross profit for 2012’s second quarter of $48.5 million, or 35.5% of net sales, which was a steep increase from 2011’s $24.6 million, or 26.7% of net sales.

Who banned the ad?

Was the idea that this ad was banned just made up, to support some persecution complex?

Christian Scientists in... Daniel Defense out...

Good thing we have the wherewithal to get the ad out anyway. It probably made it so they didn't waste millions on an ad and reached a more targeted audience.

I like both the 1st and the 2nd, but if I had to choose between those two ads... Daniel Defense would have won out.
