So the offer was out there when the plane crash happened.

Beyond that, taking the offer requires those that take the offer to trust that trump will honor the offer. There is 7 months that employees will fail to do their job, with the promise they will not be punished, and in fact will be fully paid. If trump is rescinding offers that people have already accepted, there is no way to trust him.

Clearly trump realizes he made a horrible mistake, and is trying to figure out ways to undo this.

Imagine an employee making $100k a year, who could make $400k in the private sector. She thinks she is serving her country by taking the less money, but is constantly being attacked by her ultimate boss(trump). All her attempts to do her job are being blocked. She starts thinking that maybe she should try to get something done in the private sector, and besides the higher pay would not hurt.

Now imagine an employee making $100k a year, who could not possibly make more than $50k in the private sector... That employee is staying until they bury him.

The Best won't take the buy outs for a few bucks...... If that was the case all the best teachers would quit and go into the private sector....

Wow, you are really just completely disconnected from reality. There is a huge problem with losing our best teachers. That is one of the huge problems facing America today.

They leave for several times their salary, but also because of the stupidity and disrespect of the system. They leave because they cannot follow stupid orders anymore. We have a real problem that the best teachers leave, but the worst stay for as long as they can.

No they don't... This system right now is stupid and disrespectful....And that's changing... And it's wonderful... You're right...There are a lot of bad teachers who Need to be gone and I imagine that will be addressed as well... (Just FYI...the best teachers don't follow stupid orders... We just nod, shut the door, and do what's best for the kids....)

The best teachers are not leaving and too many of the worst teachers are staying. It is a disaster and that is why I'm thrilled that things are going to change... Long overdue.... I put up with that administrative nonsense .. mostly federal... for 30 years.... But I wasn't going to hove up and leave my kids...

A real teacher would know that teachers spend almost none of their time dealing with the federal government.

The Finns and Estonians pay their teachers like honored professionals. They require at least a masters degree to teach. They have high school teachers with PHD's in the subject they are teaching. You pay well, the best people will compete for a position.

In the USA, we have trouble getting teachers who even graduated from college. We have teachers aids teaching high school who dropped out of high school. The rest of the world makes fun of us.

Well i'm a real retired teacher... Are you sure that real teachers
Rarely have to deal to deal with federal laws and mandates? Isn't it a great thing that our educational system is going to bervised and reformed?
