The FBI only started investigating Gaetz because of accusations and close association with one of his friends who was found guilty of sex trafficking, wire fraud, conspiracy, identity theft and stalking. After reviewing the accusations they ended the investigation. None of it was politically motivated
It is the GOP, his fellow Republicans in the House, who have been investigating him for the last two years, they can’t stand the guy, he’s creepy, showing pictures of young girls he banged and boasting he took energy drinks so he could continue for days on end
