Was it me?
Well I happen to have a great deal of faith in my faith.
You said you're not a christian. What are you?
Well I happen to have a great deal of faith in my faith.
Dixie said:I have repeatedly said of my own personal faith, I am a Spiritualist, not a Christian.

Dixie is a spiritualist who believes in one god, and observing the Sabbath. Dixie is a noahide.
I believe in RESPECTING the Sabbath. I believe in RESPECTING the religious beliefs and customs of others in my community. .
Spititualists don't require religion, don't do doctrine, don't necessarily believe in God.
That is not you.
I'll bet this clown in the Alabama shootings believed in God and called himself a christian.
No you don't. You want the sabbath forced onto people by law.
NEWSFLASH: America has ALWAYS been a violent nation.
In fact, we've become less violent, more humane, and more GODLY the further we move away from GOD.
We no longer enslave entire an entire population of Americans.
We no longer commit acts of genocide on a different population of Americans.
We no longer believe that women should be subservient to men.
We no longer believe that homosexuals are evil.
We no longer believe in the law of the six-gun or want any return to the Wild West.
The good news is that christianity, both protesant and evangelical, is rapidly shrinking in America.
The better news is that during this last campaign season Americans were not burdened with what Ralph Reed or so-called "christian conservatives" had to say. Nobody gave a fuck what they had to say. Both are maginalized today.
One day this biblical God that condoned slavery and murder will be read of in the same pages that talks about other false gods .. like Zeus, Apollo, and Thor.
That's the good news.
You don't know what I believe, you are a blind man. You read my comments, and draw conclusions, and most of the time, you draw the wrong conclusions. You are lost, and will continue to wander in the dark, because you've never witnessed the light. I can't help you, and I won't try. You speak from sheer ignorance, and would do yourself well to not presume to know things you don't understand.
I never said that. You are free to observe the Sabbath if you like. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. I have found, it doesn't kill me to do it, and it doesn't kill me to not do it, but to each his own.
We were discussing the law, and how democracies and communities determine the law. In that regard, if my community doesn't want to sell beer on the Sabbath, I can respect that, I have no problem with it. That doesn't force you to observe the Sabbath, and you can buy beer all day Saturday, and drink it all day Sunday, no one will stop you.
What's really funny is, slavery, the "wild west" and most everything you mentioned, was fiercely opposed by religious (mostly Christian) groups. It was religious people who operated the Underground Railroad, it was religious people who brought civility to the "wild west" of old. The overwhelming and vast majority of black people are strong evangelicals, who have profound faith in God. Martin Luther King Jr. was a Baptist minister. Most all of the civil rights leaders were ordained ministers of God.
Again, you speak from sheer ignorance.
I repeat, you're talking to the wrong person to sell your sanke oil.
But on sunday they will stop you, you stupid cunt.
Dixie, what meaning does SABBATH have in your "spiritual" view. THat's a jew idea.
Dixie, the god of Abraham hates you for denying you believe in HIM.
No one will stop you from drinking on Sunday. The community has a right to stop you from buying alcohol on Sunday, just like they have the right to allow you to buy alcohol on Sunday, or any other day.
In my personal view, it has no meaning. I realize it is a Jewish/Christian concept, and I respect it. I often defend Jewish and Christian concepts and ideas, it doesn't mean I subscribe to their religion. You want to connect me to them, but that's because you are attacking them and I am not.
It doesn't bother me, the God I know, doesn't hate, doesn't relate to hate, and has no need to hate. Neither do I.
The community has no right to stop sales for all because of the religious views of some. That's insane.
Tell us more about your god.
The community has a right to stop pretty much anything they collectively want to, as long as it doesn't violate your Constitutional rights in doing so.
What would you like to know about my God?
