Dictatorship. Yeah. 'Democracy ' is collapsing everywhere. We can blame failure to support the United Nations and international law for that. Without oversight our politicians have become contemptuous of ALL law, international and domestic. You don't have to look far to see where the rot started;

Imagine a guy accused of raping his young daughter. He's a public figure, a celebrity with a rabid fan base. Let's call him Jeffrey. Before his trial, his fan base spends untold hours on social media and other public sites, denigrating the alleged victim and supporting their beloved idol's character. There is a grand jury hearing and it finds enough evidence to indict Jeffrey. Shortly before his trial is to begin, the judge states publicly that he will be coordinating closely with Jeffrey's defense counsel and may even ask the jury to vote on his guilt or innocence without calling any witnesses.

From what we've been seeing here from the Reichwingers about the impeachment, they'd be okay with that, assuming they were Jeffrey fans. The rest of us would be righteously outraged.

Clinton even provided his DNA for the blue dress test. Trump has refused to cooperate with anything. No POTUS ever claimed blanket immunity like this Trump prick has. Decades back they allowed the chancellor of Germany to have this kind of power. Wake the F up America!!!

I am not here to criticize you, but we really do not have to have a hypothheticical example, WHEN THE TRUTH OF WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO AMERICA IS AS BAD AS IT CAN BE. Democracy is gone, and it has been gone since Nov. 8th, 2016 when Russia, Donald Trump, and all of his supporters came together to end Democracy in the US forever.

It is OK to use Trump and his Gustapo as an example of how our Democratic Government has been turned into a Kleptocracy!

It's an ill-fated attempt to inject some sort of rationality into the insanity that possesses your side. Sometimes if you can get a person clinging to a false idea a turn-about scenario, they will wake up.
