Obamacare doesn't take money out of people's paychecks. Obamacare is an exchange marketplace where the cost of premiums is somewhat defrayed by subsidies according to your income.

Obama didn't want Sequestration, but Conservatives demanded it and threatened to shut down the government over it.

That VA crisis was first pointed out under Bush, and he did nothing. Now we have Trump, and the Repugnants that signed a new healthcare bill into law back in June, and with all of the fanfare it would allow. However, they have never funded it. We are still under the Veterans Choice Program. Additionally, while the Obama administration allowed Veterans to qualify for the Choice 40 program if they lived 39 miles, and not the required 40 miles, from a VA facility. Under Trump the ones living 39-40 miles away are being forced back on the Choice 30 program which has fewer benefits.

And vets are still dying, and being lied to asshole.

Because, having all that said, all a president can do is sign the bill or veto it by refusing to sign it.

Because the legislative branches have to agree on a bill first or have a 60% majority vote to push the bill forward for the executive approval.

So, what always happens, is Congress will force a president's hand to either sign the Bill or be the one responsible, at that point, that gets blamed for shutting the government down.

So, in my opinion, based on that, I can hardly put the blame on the executive branch for just trying to keep the lights on by signing the Bill.

So when a bill that comes out of Congress, with a new budget, that requires the debt ceiling rise, who are you going to blame- the president?
