ALL Christians are evil and out to kill the rest of us...!

That's not the point Jacoff. Islamic laws apply to all followers of Islam. Mosaic laws do not apply to Christians, in fact they don't apply to modern day Jews.

Who says? I thought the bible was supreme? IS there some authotity higher than the bible that said parts of the bible are void.

Hebrews 10:8-10 -- Previously saying, “Sacrifice and offering, burnt offerings, and offerings for sin You did not desire, nor had pleasure in them” (which are offered according to the law), then He said, “Behold, I have come to do Your will, £O God.” He takes away the first that He may establish the second. By that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

Galatians 3:23-27 -- But before faith came, we were kept under guard by the law, kept for the faith which would afterward be revealed. Therefore the [old] law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor.

There is more that can be brought out and taught on this matter but it is abundantly plain to students of the Bible that the old testament is no longer in force. The things written "aforetime" were "written for our learning" but according to the "whole counsel of God" we are no longer subject to them.

So the ten comandments are not God's law anymore?

Yeah, its called the New Testament. "Look it up, read it and understand." :pke:

The NT does not say that the OT does not apply.... You might interperate it that way, but it does not say clearly....

Just like Muslims, Christians pick and choose what is relevant to them.

No they are not God's law anymore. That is exactly what I am saying. The thing is though, that all of the ten commandments but one are covered in the Law of Christ and are even made stronger. For example, take murder, for instance. Under the old law, one actually had to commit the act of murder to be guilty. But under the law of Christ one can be in danger of the judgment simply by being angry with a person without a cause (Matt. 5:21-22).

The only commandment that wasn't reiterated under the Law of Christ was to remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. No longer is it the 7th day that is of importance, religiously but it is the first day (Acts 20:7; I Cor. 16:1-2).

Jarod, I know you and others likely aren't interested in a Bible lesson but I felt that I should try to answer your questions as clearly as I can, from a Christian perspective, that is.

God-dammet, Jesus fucking Christ! I spent half my childhood trying not to take the lords name in vain and now I find out its not even against God's law.

LOL, I can see the humor in your response but bad language is covered here, among other places:

Col. 3:8-10 - "But now you yourselves are to put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth. 9Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds, 10and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him,"

Oh, and "taking the Lord's name in vain" isn't necessarily confined to cursing.

Bullshit. You are completely ignorant to say that. Jesus gave his followers a new covenant, in no uncertain terms.

...the New Testament, in no uncertain terms, declares that the old covenant is “fading away” and “obsolete,” having been replaced with the New Covenant (2 Cor. 3.11 and Heb. 8.13). In addition, Paul explains that the Jewish holy days, including the weekly Sabbath, were merely a “shadow” which pointed to Christ; therefore, Christians should not feel obligated to observe them once the “reality” has come (Col. 2.17). Furthermore, because Jesus and the New Testament writers never reiterate the Sabbath command as they do the moral principles contained in the old covenant, Christians do not need to observe a literal Sabbath. In Acts 15, the Jerusalem Council proclaims an official, apostle-endorsed end to the law for believers when they decide that circumcision is no longer necessary. After false teachers convince the Galatians that it is necessary to observe old covenant law, Paul explains that the law was only in effect “until” Christ (Gal. 3.19).
