CNN has published an article filled with federal employees whining about how they will quit if they are forced to go to work:
“The stress would be through the roof. I am at the point where if I had to commute, I would resign. I would take this as a sign to move on and start a new chapter in my life,” wailed one.

Is there waste in government? HELLS YEAH. Is Musk going to "fix" it? Fuck no! Musk is a one-shot "Genius". He got lucky in the early 90's to make a software package that was bought out by someone much bigger for a huge payday for Musk. This is what made Musk (and he did it while working here ILLEGALLY which is also fun).
But Musk is NOT a genius. He's a sharp-eyed opportunist. He didn't "invent" the Tesla. HE BOUGHT THE COMPANY FROM SOMEONE WHO DID. He didn't actually make any rockets himself. HE HIRES PEOPLE to do that for him.
The fact that you all think he is some sort of super-genius who will solve the problems of government waste are going to be unpleasantly surprised when you figure out exactly how "smart" Elon is.
Elon is a professional provocateur at this point in his life. He is able to do so because he's astoundingly rich.
SOME DAY you guys will figure out that RICH does always mean BRILLIANT.
