I think we're done here. You've got nothing.
Well it was fun playing with you but if you ever want to say something profoundly absurd maybe we can play again. See you next time
I think we're done here. You've got nothing.
No. You keep harping on sources. I think you are intellectually dishonest. You are an asshat.
I must say it was strictly out of curiosity to see how far it would go.
It's about to go to the War Zone since Legion is a huge pussy.
Oh I haven't had much experience with arguing against him. But if this is the preamble to the war zone I think I'm pretty bored.
You should be. It ain't for you.
Is it a section of the forum where they relax the rules a little bit?
A lil bit. Just a wee bit.
That's interesting I didn't think there were too many rules here anyway.
Name them, please.
Nothing anti science in christianity though certain sects have been so in the past (RCC) and others in the present (certain evangelical sects). But there is nothing in the Bible that is intrinsically anti science.
Antiscience isn't just opposition to science.
There are plenty of core beliefs in all religions that are unscientific.
God is love doesnt seem to run afoul of anything.
That's hardly the only core belief of any religion, and it is antiscience, because no scientific proof of the existence of a deity has ever been offered, AFAIK.
That is the core tenant of Christianity.
Faith does not require proof but science cannot disprove so your point is moot.
It is one of several.
Faith is antiscience.
So is your argument. If something can't be proven, it is unproven. I don't know if faith is real, or not. I do know that a philosophy that doesn't require proof is anti-scientific.
If you think faith is real, the burden of proof rests upon you, the claimant.
You cannot prove that faith is real, ergo, it is unproven.
Faith is neither pro nor anti science.
Christianity has supported efforts to discover the science underlying things as it helps humanity.
Science demands proof. Science is anti faith.
Antiscience is a philosophy or way of understanding the world that rejects science and the scientific method. People holding anti-scientific views do not accept science as an objective method that can generate universal knowledge. Antiscience may be considered dependent on religious, moral and cultural arguments. For this kind of religious antiscience philosophy, science is an anti-spiritual and materialistic force that undermines traditional values, ethnic identity and accumulated historical wisdom in favor of reason.

Christianity has done no such thing. Individual Christians have, and institutions or organization affiliated with Christianity have.
Christianity is a religion. Religions don't "do things". They are philosophies/belief systems.
Non sequitur.
First blurb is meaningless as it does nothing to address my comment.
Universities were started by the church and they certainly did teach science.
