What Trump did was build a virtual wall between his supporters and the truth.
Mexico didn't pay for it. We all have. And will continue to pay.
Just look at the national debt.

Before the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, a man from New Mexico tried to order tickets over the phone. The Atlanta operator when she heard New Mexico told the man he would have to go through his own nations Olympic committee to get tickets. When he pointed out that it is the state of New Mexico not the country of Mexico, she said she did not want to get involved with Mexican politics and hung up on him.
I am surprised that Republicans have allowed Electors from New Mexico to be counted.
My question about the terrorists pouring over the border from Mexico 10 years ago... Are these the most incompetent terrorists ever, or do they not exist? I mean, supposedly they have been in the USA for 10 years and have done absolutely no harm.

The whole point of terrorism is to do it in public. But if you want to believe thousands of terrorism streamed over the border, hijacked thousands of planes, killed hundreds of thousands of Americans, and it was all covered up by Obama and later trump... I cannot stop you.

OK, we have no idea what the politics of the Atlanta operator were. The sad truth is that most Americans, be they on the left or the right, are not very well informed. I recall a late night talk host who conducted random surveys on the street. People were asked a very simple rudimentary question about our government.
"What are the three branches of our government?"
The alarming truth is that most people could not answer correctly.
What we need is to place a very high emphasis on making sure that our school students are educated as to how our country works, what makes it tick, and how important it is that the people are well informed and actively engaged in our politics.
Our democracy and the future of our nation depend on it. It is vital.
Part of the power grip the rich have over this nation is the power to put out tons of corrosive PR. One thing that is very frustrating to me is this notion that it is not polite to talk about politics in social settings.
I don't know how that got started but it has morphed into some people thinking it is never polite to talk about politics at all.
That's total BS.
We have got to talk about our politics. Our nation depends on it. If we can never talk about our politics, then the rich powers-to-be win.
And that is exactly what is going on right now.
And then you go online to talk about politics because nobody IRL wants to and what do you find?
Really frustrated angry people who mostly just want to be nasty to each other and unload all their frustrations.
As if that ever accomplishes anything.
What BS.
Is it any wonder why most people in this country want nothing to do with political discussions?
Until we can change that dynamic, America will continue to fail.
Apathy is slowly taking out our nation like rust eating a dirty old abused car.
And each side will blame the other side, but nothing will improve.
What has all this bitterness gotten us?
An angry mob stormed the capitol and people died. Our very government disrupted from doing it's business.
We need a serious focus and massive new long term initiative on mental health.
We need to tax the rich to pay for it and ya know what? The country would become so much more productive as a result that the rich would only get richer still. Good luck convincing them of it, though. Cheap skates like Trump would fight that like it was the plague. Greed kills.
