Am I married?

And by the way.. now your locked in. Don't get divorced or it will cost yah 500 a week for child support and 250 a week for spousal support.

Thanks Chap, a couple days ago is when I just got to 99% over the 200K the ex got. Oh yeah and the 1,900mo child support and 440 tuition for a 16yr old didn't really hurt much.

Fuck paying 2500+ a month. id just assum have a Goomba.

As far as splitting the retirement I have been saving for over 10 years.. and alot.. Graduated in 97.. Unfortunately for me i happen to be in high earning years during one of the flattest decades on record. Sure a couple good years at the beginning (when i didnt have much saved).. but basically the markets been flat for 10 years since. I don't have much more then what i put in to be completely honest. I am glad I have less then 10 years left on a 400k+ mortgage. At least I have that going for me.

start kissing your wife's ass now.
Took me forever to get too 100,000 in the 401k. then 200 came quick.
But nothing was as fast as her getting half of it.
I didn't mind the tuition part, he was a top ten national freshman wrestler. The $1,900 childcare while he was in the house I bought was testing.

Well I am hoping to never split. its alot of unneeded pain and suffering versus making it work. However in the mean time I have been having her buy into her pension plan and beef up her 401k contributions.

No we got rid of the obey word all together.

I figured so, but just wanted to needle you ever so slightly! :)

My husband suggested that he'd love to pay the judge to include the "O" word in our vows, but he knew better! :p

So you were married by a Judge? Are you married?

We certainly are! :D We just couldn't face the whole formal wedding rigmarole. Also we'd been together for 11 years by then, now nearly 18 yrs. We did the right thing for us.
