There is no such thing as democracy

There is, but no democracy currently exists anywhere in the world.

There are lobbies, groups, families etc, so some strong unities. These strong unities offer you their candidates and you "brainwashed ordinary statistical number" vote for the one which they want you to vote for. After they are "elected", they starts to imply the agenda of the unity or unities they work for.

You should probably read the Constitution of the United States.

It defines who is elected and how, and the structure, powers, and authorities our government has. It has no other power or authority.
