I'll make a prediction that someone from Alabama will not win this year! 
I honestly think the show is at its 'jump the shark' moment, and it will just start to get silly. I just hope the talents like Chris Daltrey and Carrie Underwood, aren't somehow tarnished by association... like the Star Search thing... it became a career killer for some.
