The problem with trailer parks is that they are an alternative form of apartments. The residents lease their lot. That makes them renters, not owners. Sure, there are nice trailer parks just as there are nice apartments. But if you really want to grow society moving people from being renters to owners is the way to do it.Yes. The Duggars family comes to mind. They're on the right. Plenty of families on the right have many kids and need assistance.

Many own their lots, same as with any other development. Also people nowadays have to move around the country a lot to stay employed, so trailers, as opposed to pre-fabs, which aren't the same thing, are more popular these days. Some of the same companies that build trailers also build the pre-fabs that can towed like trailers, so they get confused with trailers.
You want more homeowners, bring back high productivity jobs, shed the illegals and green cards, and pay people better wages, and slap big tariffs on imports from slave labor countries.
They just timbered the woods above the house across the road and built townhouses. Rent is $1250 + utilities a month. That keeps the scum out, but lessens the tranquility.Yes. I've posted on that before.

I don't disagree. I have friends who rented until they could afford a home. Most of us have.

3 guys built them themselves. 4 units. 2 last summer, 2 this summer. No illegals in sight, not even the landscapers (who were also locals).
