The cost of the Ballroom is hundreds of millions freely given, not taken by the IRS.
And the Ballroom serves vital functions of: dignified politics, a venue for intra-faction and political party communication, a pageant to please the imagination of the working class, a chance to show mien and tradition which defines limits of polite political behavior, and a chance to socialize rather than protest with riots and arson.
The cost of Food Stamps/SNAP is in the 10s of Billions. It encourages drug addiction and dysfunction and retards education and ambition.
You're not doing anyone a favor with SNAP. Giving those who need some assistance a chance to WORK for their food subsidy would be far, far more kind and beneficial.

The MAGAS in the south are fighting against the DEMS that are trying to save some of the federal programs that they use the most.
It is a fact that the southeast states are " RED " states that need and use these programs just to survive.
They keep voting against their own best interest that is how stupid they are.

Life is simple. It goes like this.........If you are not sick, elderly or disabled......WORK. Oh,...and no more bullshit disabilities either. Drug addicts and drunks do not deserve to live on assistance,...nor do people with made up so called mental disabilities where all you have to do is get the right lawyer who has a whole herd of "disability whore doctors" that will sign off on you being disabled if you pay them enuff. We ALL KNOW it happens,...so cut the bullshit.
