I can assure you that if he were to enter the race, I would use my own judgement, based solely upon his own words and actions.
I have never been one to take right-wing propaganda and smear tactics seriously before and I'm not going to suddenly start.
If his agenda seems too far left to garner popular appeal across a broader spectrum, then I would be likely to support someone of a more centrist nature.

Second...it is at least possible that Hillary Clinton, had she won, has enough character and self-respect NOT TO FIRE Comey...even though he had almost cost her the race.
My guess is that at some point...she will acknowledge that the loss was on her...not James Comey...and that he actually did what was the least bad thing.

Comey has stuck to his core values of integrity and service the the USA, yes, but that means he has both parties furious at him.

I didn't say, much less infer anything about Trump. I am a political atheist. I didn't support either of the two worst candidates to oppose each other in a presidential election.

Other than embarrassing herself what has Hillary done since the election? You can argue that it is a moot point because her career as a politician is as dead as Comey's integrity. The idea that he should run for president is absurd. A year from now people will remember Comey as that giant guy who wrote about the size of Trump's hands, hair and long ties.
Comey himself points out that his actions were based solely on the belief that Hillary would win.

James Comey seems to be a decent, intelligent, reasonable man...someone I could easily vote for.

I also think Hillary Clinton is an intelligent, decent, reasonable woman...and I think she would have made a fine president.
There were lots of things that contributed to her loss...including some of the things you mentioned.
But the biggest contributor to her loss...is the unfairness of the Electoral College.
Under any circumstances...she DID LOSE...as did our nation.
