Is it correct that you do taxes for a living, so you are knowledgeable about this? (or do I have that wrong) Non-citizens? Wouldn't they be afraid to get turned over to ICE? Man, if I was not documented I would be VERY reluctant to contact the government and give them my name and location.

that's more than a 5% increase if I'm not mistaken. 100 billion extra revenue divided by 2 trillion is 5%. Thanks for posting those figures allowing us to make our own computations.

It depends on the quality of their bogus purchased ids.
If you bought an ssn (usually from a deceased person) you can file under it and get refunds. No worries with ICE as IRS does not validate to SSA. If the deceased was older its probably not safe to try and claim SSA benefits. But if it was a child and you worked for years then good to go.
Ice is only interested in illegals that dont show up for their hearing. And the government does next to nothing to coordinate data.
