My wife lived in Detroit as a kid for a bunch of years, some of my Dad's family lives in Detroit......I have had a front row seat to the sad collapse of Detroit.
I think what gets me most is the willful blindness, the willful ignorance "We are turning the corner, we have these new bright ideas that are going to Make Detroit Great Again!" as anyone who looks at reality on the ground and has heard this wishful thinking 100 times before over decades knows better.
There was never a reality based case for optimism.

"Truthie" has made that 6 figure salary claim before. Only another pathogical liar would defend tRump (another pathological liar) to the degree Terminally Deranged does.
My guess is that if he is an adult- from a legal age standpoint- he gets computer access from a school that provides night classes for obtaining a GED.

The last couple of years Detroit has had a rebirth with rents soaring and businesses being opened in the downtown area. No wishful thinking at all.Many upscale eateries opened and work was good.Then Dionald came along with his lazy, self-serving leadership and it all will die again.
It was only downtown that was moving in the right direction, and neither this pandemic nor this depression is Trumps fault....the Pandemic is China's fault and the depression is mostly the fault of the elite who never prepared for a pandemic....it is the result of having a crap medical system.
