America's Terrible Manners Are A Direct Reflection Of America's Moral Decline!

This little bitch - a "newbie" here I think had a mother who wanted to be his friend and never taught him any manners. And it has to be noted that the preceding generation before him being either generation X or the hippies rejected manners as I pointed out in my original post.
You goy your ass kicked in school, now you love getting it kicked her. Jesus tard

Go screw yourself college Paulbot fag boy. You pathetic mirror winking little prick, you're exactly whom I'm referring to in this post. A fatherless, instant self gratifying little bitch.

You're as worthless as yesterday's cold tomato soup. Stop wasting valuable earth air.
So typical Christian

We're talking about lack of manners because manners were never taught to the current generation, not everywhere in the country but in many places. Of course you always love to excuse make for your heroes, the sixties radicals / hippies who began this moral degradation then moved into many of the country's normally functional areas in both private and public life.

There has never been a time in American history where selfish, self serving people who weren't taught to respect other people have been in these many numbers in different locales. Parenting has failed to teach these manners because parents are some of those who got rid of the courteous behavior in the first place.

So spare me your typical republican blow off of the subject. You love these types pal, you've demonstrated it time and again. The newbie is a perfect example of it on this thread.

There's a reason I posted the South Park anti-hippie clips and that because I hate hippies. So feel free to get off your high horse at any time. And if you are truly in touch with southern culture as you claim you are well aware of the passion for college football so I'm not sure why you rip on people for being a fan. And my family has six generations of southern roots and I was taught about manners from a young age so again enough with your holier than thou rhetoric.

If we're going to live in a civilized society, good manners are absolutely essential. We must all try to get along and we must all give others the benefit of the doubt that they are indeed ladies and gentlemen when they're supposed to be until they prove otherwise. The idiot on the thread who equates good mannerly behavior with religious dogma is so A typical of the self gratifying, self promoting values system handed down to current society by the hippies. Claiming compassion for others while treating others with disrespect are not good manners. Blaming all of one's problems on the older generation are not good manners.

Bad manners are a result of not being trained in civilized good manners in the home. And manners must be taught in the home because they cannot be taught anywhere else but the home. The bad manners being conducted in society today are an example of the moral degradation of American society started by those hippies some decades ago.

No you grin and like it.

This is your doing because of your forbearers utter contempt for values reflected in their bad manners that have been passed on to the pleasure seeking selfish ones.

You're a contemptible euro leftist who approves of everything morally reprehensible in America and it's resulting terrible manners.

You know as much about me as you know your arse from your elbow, you colonial primitive. You know nothing about my forebears either, you colonial primitive. The United States rejected Christianity for Mammon very long since (if it ever considered the matter), and reactionary idiots like yourself do it no favours, you colonial primitive. Go back to Lyncher's Landing and your rotgut: your silly aggressiveness wastes the world's time

I took my 93 year old mother to a local eatery the other night for dinner, I think it was one of these young punk hangouts, Applebee's or Chilies

That's fucking insanely fucking funny. Did you steal that from Hall Pass.

I agree people's manners are atrocious. Like the right wing dirtbags who reduce people to their private parts and attempt to shock people with details about the sex lives of others.

You have wicked good manners, Cawacko. I've thought so for as long as I've known you on forums. :)

If parents want to be friends with their kids and sometimes act like them and often times dress like them, how are they supposed to teach them common courtesy toward others and mannerly behavior?

Through their interactions with other adults throughout the day.

See how that works? Have you taught your children that the mean spirited way you speak to others who have done nothing to harm you is wrong and they should instead respect the other person?

I don't doubt you've taught your children how to speak with the same level of vitriol and spite you put into every sentence.

Yet you wonder where all the coarseness came from...it cam in part from Y-O-U!

I took my 93 year old mother to a local eatery the other night for dinner, I think it was one of these young punk hangouts, Applebee's or Chilies or whatever it's called and we were both greeted by this clueless little twit at the front door who asked us: ARE YOU'S GUYS GOING TO EAT? Now I really don't mind it if the brainless victim of compulsory education in America refers to me as a you's guys that much but calling my dear mother the same is perplexing. Did the clueless greeter first realize that my mother was a lady and not a you's guys? Did she notice that she was an elderly lady and did the refugee from MTV even care? As we proceeded to our table, we received the same you's guys treatment from another victim of manner less training about the same age being our waitress. Now I think that a lady who was born during the Woodrow Wilson presidential administration and only a few years after world war 1 ended should receive a much more respectful greeting than the one she more often than not receives in many places and this was not an isolated incident.

I've also heard many times young girls conversing and using the F word as part of their vocabulary in just about every sentence or about every other sentence out loud on purpose. I've seen older people treated with a total lack of respect by the me generations one and two such as not opening doors for people or not being courteous in public places such as on public transportation vehicles to other people.

This total lack of manners is not a national problem nationwide by the way and it's important to point this out because young people seem to be a lot more respectful of others in areas where the so called red states reside and the slobs without manners training seem to exist in the more liberal or blue states. These types offer a growing epidemic of a response by the way that can be heard after somebody thanks them with this smart aleck return "no problem" instead of the courteous response, you're welcome. Since when is being courteous to others and offering them same a problem in the first place?

All of this can be traced back to the hippies and their infiltration into our political and business institutions and their political correctness fascist value system that doesn't include another aspect of the middle class values that they detested, common courtesy and manners.

Please learn to write! You might start with the name of the establishment. Next avoid repetition such as this glaring example: "she more often than not receives in many places and this was not an isolated incident." And then there is this statement which not only appears to be repetitive: "This total lack of manners is not a national problem nationwide" but also prompts the question: It is "a national problem" regionally? And finally we have this: "in areas where the so-called red states reside" Do states "reside" or do people reside in states?

If you want people to take your periodic and repetitious claims about America's moral decline seriously, you might want to write about it in a way that shows you might even know what you are talking about. Currently, your writing is so bad no one would mistake you for a moral philosopher!

You might try to stop being such a pompous cunt.

Philly Rabbit writes, "All of this can be traced back to the hippies and their infiltration into our political and business institutions...."

It's said the generation who fought WII was the greatest generation. In that case the Hippies were the second greatest generation. They said, "Hell no! We won't go!" fight and die in a war that was instigated on a lie. 50,000 young men died for a lie! (Vietnam and the Gulf of Tonkin Incident.) That was the political system of the time.

Then there's the freedom they demanded. From women's liberation to slowly getting the government out of the citizen's pants; from abortion to gay rights.

If the trade-off is people running around using the F word I have absolutely no problem with that. And as far as respecting one's elders age has nothing to do with respect. There are far more 50 and 60 year old perverts than there are 15 year old perverts.

If anything, the Hippies started the house cleaning. Yes, the facade of society, that hypocritical politeness, has became a bit soiled but that's due to the garbage, war lies and prejudice and gross interference in people's lives, which they had to throw out the windows.

I'll trade a FU any day for the right to bed whom I want. I'll happily open my own door knowing people of a different color can also open the door and come in.

Thank God for the Hippies!

Philly, I don't know how to break this to you, but Appleby's contains a bar, and so you might have just been there for drinks. Whenever I go into a Red Robin or Appleby's, for example, with an intent to go sit in the bar section, I smile at the host/hostess, gesture toward the bar, and say, "thanks, I'm just going to sit in the bar," when they move to come to my assistance.

Kaboomers were/are a terrible generation. There's no getting around that one.

Do your late teen, early twenty something door greeters who welcome you into the private establishment eateries with the bars know the difference between a 93 year old woman and a twenty year old college kid?

The ones I encounter never seem to know and you can blame grandma elder hippy who back at the house has memento love beads stashed away in her dresser drawer and who never explained the difference to her daughter who in turn never did same to the greeters.
