I don't believe you want to trade videos of trump/Biden. Biden has always been prone to gaffs. trump is a word salad machine, and his dementia makes it very difficult for him to speak intelligently about anything.

I see no reason to believe the debate(s) will not go exactly like they went in 2020:

The first debate will have a reasonable Biden, with an insane lying trump ranting about how he got reductions in all prescription drug prices by "80 to 90 percent", and how insulin was now "cheaper than water." Less than 30% of the voters will think trump won the debate. That means many of his supporters will even realize he is a loser.

trump will realize he is way over his head, and refuse the second debate. trump will hide like a scared child.

Unlike in 2020, there is no third debate scheduled, so that is a divergence from 2020. That means there will only be one debate.

There is a real chance that trump will do far worse than this, but no realistic chance that he will do better.

If the debates are the only thing that changes between now and the election (unlikely, but hypothetically speaking), then Biden will win the election. trumpers point to polls where trump is getting 45% of the vote, and Biden is getting 40%, and say that trump is leading. trump getting the last 5% of the vote necessary to win would be difficult in the best of times. The 15% who are undecided do not like trump. Many have decided they will not vote for trump, but have not decided to vote for Biden. A terrible debate performance would mean that the undecideds and a few of the voters who were willing to vote for trump will go for Biden.

trump desperately needs something very strange to happen to turn this freight train around.

You need to pump up Biden if you want Trump to be seen as winning this debate. If you lower the expectations of America too far all Biden has to do is not poop his pants and fall down and he will be perceived as "winning" the debate. How is it that republicans keep helping him with this kind of talk? Do they not remember last election?

You've recently seen what some speed and a change in the sleep schedule can do with the SOTU. Yeah, he never blinks, can't put down his arms and his feet barely touch the ground, and he speaks at the same rate as Ben Shapiro, but he doesn't crap his pants and fall down.

They will do anything to get him to look like he functions for two to three hours, even put his health at risk. Don't lower the expectations, raise them. You should be talking like you are afraid Trump will go into a "would you rather" sesh after questions, and show off his ankle monitor. You may not believe that stuff will happen, but you should set that expectation so when Trump sounds like a human being who has been President before and doesn't talk about sharks and electricity he'll be perceived as the winner.

It's the expectations. Americans no longer care about the substance, if Biden doesn't literally freeze during the opening clapter and walk off the stage after pooping himself if you keep lowering expectations for him then you have set him up to be perceived as the "winner"...

I won't be able to watch this upcoming debate and will wait for the highlights the next day. I can't stand the sight of Trump and I loath hearing Biden talk. This country deserves so much better and we don't have it with these two old losers. My prediction.....a all out SHIT SHOW!!
