Nobody has to "manufacture" outrage out of that dumpster fire of an evacuation in Afghanistan. The moment living people tried to ride on the outside of the airplanes to get out of there we all saw what a disaster it was. People raining from the sky is never, and I really do mean never, a sign of a successful withdrawal. Beating a hasty retreat that's what it signifies.
Remember when he promised over and over that this was not going to be a Viet Nam airlift from the embassy moment? Well, it was worse. Remember when his sign of "success" was that a record number of desperate escape flights had happened?
As we watched real humans rain from the sky in a desperate attempt to get out of Afghanistan we left behind thousands of Americans and folks who helped us, our allies in that mess of local politics. This was not success by any measure other than that of a Democrat who wants to pretend that the dumpster fire didn't really happen...
This man clearly understood his failure:
As does every American, even those trying to rewrite the history of the mess.
