Ann Romney's 'You People' Comment Stirs Outrage

Oh no!! Ann Romney has evidently pissed off Obama's base! They are so pissed off, they are stirred to OUTRAGE!!! One more non-issue to run on. I hate to hijack this thread, But can one of you neo-comms remind me, what exactly is Obama's plan to lead(and I use that term loosely)us out of this socio-political-economic clusterfuck we now find ourselves in?
 
Funny thing. Someone on here the other day claimed she didn't say it.

It is the kind of thing that a person who has been uber wealthy all her life should not say to voters who have just been through a couple of years of economic disastor created by her economic group.

they are hell bent on seeing the economic group she belongs to as their natural Betters, their god sent masters...you know the people BORN to lead the rabble.

Well this kid who was born dirt poor and worked smart to build what I have while watching the kids of wealth float above all the hard work and pain and took the elevator to the top bypassing all the stairs I and most of the people I know took because the elevator required a family name we didnt have. WE know they were merely born to money and are not our natural betters.

The phrase "you people" has always held the impression of being condescending towards others and is often preceded by a bigoted statement. Such as when Sheriff Joe addresses Hispanics or or when George Wallace addressed the black students.

It's offensive at best...

Then you people need to come up with a list of words and phrases approved by you people for use by we, the people. But I seriously believe that list would include almost every word in the English language by the time you people were satisfied, thereby rendering all conservatives mute.

Every motivational tirade I used over the course of a 25 year military career started with a variation of "you people are starting to piss me off!!!" I never got a complaint and my audiences were always a riot of glorious diversity. I refuse to take a sensitivity seminar every time I want to make a political point.
