I would agree...but...some may only be on life sustaining prescriptions that would come up hot. Even eating bagels with those little black poppy seeds will come up hot for weed. One of the nurses the GF worked with a few years ago got fired for eating 2 bagels with those seeds, and there was nothing she could do about it.
If they were doing illegal drugs, I'm sure they would find ways around it, and their doctors would back them.

Trust me two bagels with poppy seeds is NOT enough to test positive for opiates. She was not being truthful about her opiate use. Poppy seeds themselves don't have opiates in them . The latex contained in the poppy seed pod has the opiates in it. In the processing of the seed the latex can get on the seeds but it takes a lot of seeds to trigger a positive screen at the levels needed.

Everyone fired for drug use claims it was just poppy seeds. They almost always have the right to a second test, so they must love poppy seeds.

They can, and sometimes do, drug tests throughout employment. Refusing a drug test at the FBI means immediate termination.

I would say that there would be no need to drug test anyone in this current administration, since they would
have had reason to test the people of the former administration when Hunter's bag of cocaine was found in
the White House, but of course they refused to drug test any of them.
