Another day, another idiot judge

T. A. Gardner

Thread Killer
This time a district court judge wants an illegal Venezuelan national brought back to the US after being deported to El Salvador. This individual was arrested and convicted of cocaine possession prior to deportation. The idiot judge says he applied for asylum and didn't get a hearing--"due process." Well, he was arrested and convicted of cocaine possession! Even if he is returned to the US, that criminal conviction negates any chance of asylum being granted and the fucker gets immediately deported back to El Salvador or wherever.

What this judge is demanding is process over common sense, sanity, and plain and obvious results that will occur.

Who made you or any other individual the arbiter of what does and does not constitute common sense.

Everyone has a different idea of what common sense is

That's why we have The Constitution and precisely written laws.

And none of those laws direct the government to use common sense to decide things on a case by case basis.

The Constitution demands uniformity and the handling of all cases exactly the same so that everyone gets treated the same as everyone else.

It's sad that some people are too thick headed to understand that without having it explained to them

Ahem.... 🙄

Well said. Gardner thinks fascism is common sense.

You cannot be granted asylum in the US with a criminal conviction on the books in the US. It's that simple. Common sense says if you are trying to get asylum and have a criminal conviction, you get denied and deported.

You still get a court hearing.

Once you start going down the road of saying "We don't need to give this guy due process" and "We don't need to give that guy due process", where does it end?

Shame how some people are too short-sighted and thick-headed to understand that due process is something that needs to be jealously guarded and strictly adhered to in every single solitary case with no exceptions.

People like you don't give a shit because you think it will never effect you.

But it could someday or somebody you know.

Then you'll be bitching about the dang ol' gub'mint.

So stupid ... :palm:

What is the point of a hearing when the outcome is known? He was convicted of a crime, given an order of deportation as a result. End of issue. His asylum hearing is a moot point.

If you have to ask such a clueless question, you are truly a short-sighted individual who just doesn't "get it".

You value convenience over adherence to the written law.

You are just another sad and typical mindless trump robot puppet.

I value common sense and reason over blind adherence to bureaucratic procedure, and the law is chock-a-block full of bureaucratic procedure.

Again, who put you in charge of deciding what is and isn't common sense?

What about people whose idea of common sense differs from yours?

Should we always put you ahead of everyone else?

What you brush off as bureaucratic procedure, is really adherence to the rule of law. You think because you disagree with some laws they don't need to be adhered to.

Typical trumper simpleton who can't see the forrest for the trees.

Gardner claims to have an MA in history. But he mostly posts stupid pictures.
Any student of history would understand how our history of strict adherence to written rules and laws are the reason why our nation has managed to hold itself together as long as it has.

And they would understand how and why it is currently in such danger of disappearing because of people who think like T.A. Gardner.

"History is bunk." Admitted nazi, Ford.

You have obviously never had to deal with the US legal system.

What you are seeing at present in the sabotage of Trump's policy agenda, ( by Federal District Court Judges) , is Lawfare 2.0.

There are 671 Federal District Court Judges has to deal with.

A goodly number of them are crazy liberals appointed by Democrats such as "shit-for-brains", Joe Biden, the Black Marxist, Barack Obama, and such like..

For Chief Executive Trump to be in a position where any of his Executive Orders can be blocked by any number of these Federal District Court Judge (and you have already seen how there are activist fringe- liberal lunatics amongst them. What it means is that Trump - the Chief Executive is having to battle in a political game where he alone is left to fight off hundreds of potentially hostile District Court Judges who are able to completely block the implementation of Federal policy at the stroke of a pen. This is what you have been seeing - it is simply Lawfare "Part 2".

This situation where Trump is placed at the mercy of 671 Federal District Court Judges ( a large number of them activist Democrat dickheads is: RIDICULOUS, ABSURD and utterly INTOLERABLE. The Chief Justice (Roberts) of the SCOTUS has already personally indicated that he believes the situation cannot continue. And he will put an end to this BS in the very near future. Just wait and see.

Without all the drama, the question really is:

Who runs the country, Congress and the President, or unelected district court judges?
