As many have predicted, the horror stories coming out from former Trump staffers keep hitting the shelves and, IMO, will keep doing so for another year or two. Great for election publicity! :thup:

OTOH, Trump shits himself every time one of these books comes out and he threatens to sue, browbeat and do whatever it takes to silence Americans.

Remember how Trump promised to hire only the best people and then every person who quits/resigns Trump demeans as not being the best? IMO, that's more telling of Trump's failure as a leader than it is of all former staffers he keeps attacking. His remarks about Generals Kelly and Mattis tubed Trump's favorability with the rank and file in our military.

Stephanie Grisham spent years at the side of the Trumps, serving as then-President Donald Trump's press secretary and as chief of staff for first lady Melania Trump.

She quit her job in protest after the January 6 US Capitol riot and has written a tell-all memoir of her time at the center of the Trump storm, due out next week.

Excerpts of the book leaked Tuesday, including Grisham writing of Trump's "terrifying" temper: "When I began to see how his temper wasn't just for shock value or the cameras, I began to regret my decision to go to the West Wing," she wrote.

Trump, never one to let any slight (real or perceived) go, issued a statement via a spokeswoman that, in part, read this way:

"Stephanie didn't have what it takes and that was obvious from the beginning. She became very angry and bitter after her break up and as time went on she was seldom relied upon, or even thought about. She had big problems and we felt that she should work out those problems for herself. Now, like everyone else, she gets paid by a radical left-leaning publisher to say bad and untrue things."

According to Greg Miller's 2018 book "The Apprentice," Putin sought to exploit what he perceived to be Trump's personal weaknesses, and encouraged Trump's fears that there was a "deep state" of US officials plotting against him.

Trump has expressed his personal admiration for authoritarian leaders such as Putin, and the Grisham book claims that Trump told him at one meeting that he would pretend to adopt a tough tone with him for the sake of the cameras.

Stephanie Grisham is just another slimy part of the Trump Administration.

Sure, now to try and save grace, she writes a tell all book about Donald and Melania Trump- as if she has anything to offer, that most intelligent people don't already know about Donald Trump.

We get it- Donald Trump is an asshole and a jerk. Melania is a Stepford Wife snobberish recluse. I sure didn't need her to tell me that.

And we also get what a slime-ball she is for NOW coming out of the closet to tell us all about Donald Trump, when she had 4 years to tell us the truth.

She knows her career is ruined- just like so many others that were part of the Trump Cult- so why not write a book!

People love dirty laundry!

But they hate slime-balls!

Not sure Putin is that smart as opposed to simply being a ruthless Russian mobster, but the comparison is apt.

Trump is a fucking moron. We've heard that several times from multiple people who worked for him and have seen the results ourselves over the past 5 years.

Let's hope so! I will encourage others to reveal the bullshit they had to put up the President most likely to be at the top of The Worst list.

Agreed people love dirty laundry and Trump has a truckload of it. Same for his kids which explains why they are lying so low these days with all the criminal investigations going on.

Grisham details the tumultuous period after Trump's alleged affairs with Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal were made public, outlining Melania Trump's "anger," and her attempts to distance herself from her husband. Grisham says the public humiliation turned Melania Trump into an emboldened first lady.

"After the Stormy Daniels story broke and all the allegations that followed from other women, I felt that Mrs. Trump was basically unleashed," writes Grisham. "She had always been independent from her husband, but now, as a wronged and publicly humiliated first lady, she seemed liberated to do whatever she wanted, or didn't want, to do."

Grisham also faced a humiliating episode in the wake of the Daniels news. The then-President called Grisham from Air Force One to say that his manhood, which Daniels had detailed in an interview, was "fine."

"'Everything down there is fine,' he said. What the hell was I supposed to say to that? I kept it to a simple 'Okay,' praying that somehow we'd get disconnected," writes Grisham. "'It's fine,' he repeated. 'Uh, yes, sir,' I replied. Well, that was awkward."

Grisham writes that Trump once asked her then-boyfriend, who was also a Trump aide, if she was good in bed. She also alleges that Trump would constantly ask where a young female press aide was at press events and allegedly once requested that aide be brought to his cabin on Air Force One so that he could "look at her [behind]."

The former press secretary also busts one of the biggest mysteries of Trump's public image: His hair.

Grisham says Trump cuts it himself, "with a huge pair of scissors that could probably cut a ribbon at an opening of one of his properties."
 
Trump is so predictable. Any publication the writes a story he did not like was a failing paper, like the NYT. Every person who is critical of him is unqualified and stupid. Trump is a child and his followers are even less mature. After Trump does this 100 times, don't you see a connection? Th problem is trump is immature and cannot act like an adult. He should be shunned.

Trump has no friends. Only suckers and soon-to-be-screwed.

Trump is everything most people say about him. Why a small segment of America wants to overthrow our government to install him as President remains a mystery to me.
