He did NOT have a legal carry permit with him. He went for his gun and struggled against LEOs and FAFO'd.
Not necessarily in that order.
He struggled with LEOs and then went for his gun.

Umm, Matty? HE NEVER BRANDISHED THE GUN! IT WAS TAKEN OFF OF HIM AFTER BEING FRISKED WHILE ICE THUGS WERE WHALING ON HIM ON THE GROUND AFTER HE WAS PEPPERED SPRAYED IN THE FACE TWICE.
