He resisted arrest. Once the police--ANY police--tell you, you are under arrest, either you do as instructed or you are resisting. You don't get to "defend yourself."

All Pretti had to do was make an attempt, or movement that the officers thought was an attempt to draw that pistol and he was getting shot.

I saw none of the officers flee the scene or "r(u)n away like frightened children." I did see them stand up and stop fighting with Pretti once he'd been shot.

It is clear that Pretti brought this situation on himself. He should have never approached the ICE officers like he did, particularly being armed like he was. He should not have resisted arrest. His wearing a pistol, even if it is his legal right to do so, is no excuse for his actions or those of the officers. HIs having a gun raised his level of threat to officers automatically. Pretti fucked up and it cost him his life.

Arrested? He was assaulted while standing on a sidewalk. Nor did he approach "police" with a visible weapon. The first agent approached him, took part in wrestling him to the ground and only then was it noticed that he had a holstered gun.

So you are absolving the feds for acting in a way that is not legal and not moral. But blaming his parents for the fact that he became an ICU nurse at the VA hospital and stepped in to try to help a woman that had been violently shoved to the ground.

He was not near them. He was not interfering with them when they approached him and attacked him.
At this point it will only be more videos showing the same thing that we already know. Pretti was not the instigator.
