july 5 2016 SB Nation is looking to hire more writers for “Beyond the Box Score,” but apparently they’re not overly interested in white guys.

They posted a jobs announcement on Twitter seeking potential new writers stating, “We’re also passionate about making online baseball writing a more welcoming and diverse place.”

One section of the job description says, “At BtBS, we’re troubled by the fact that the online baseball writing community is over-populated by young white men. If you’re a member of a group that is under-represented in baseball media, we would love for you to apply and help us change that.”

I have zero problem with this. Of course I believe ANY employer should be allowed to hire/fire for any reason they choose and if they don't want white guys then they should be allowed. However, I also believe they should be able to exclude ANYONE for ANY REASON.

I suspect that those who celebrate this probably wouldn't agree if the add said "negroes not apply". Then it would be a national outrage, but I am used to their hypocrisy
