I don’t make the rules nor do they ask for my input.
I never said a word about any sport bending in any direction for trans athletes. What I AM saying is that for many, not you however, the agenda is not some great concern for women’s sports. Most of these fucks wouldn’t sit through a women’s basketball game or soccer match to save their lives. It’s merely a cloak for their bigoted agenda. Period. They’re the same people who bash gays, drag queens, Muslims. On and on.
These people just didn’t decide overnight to transgender just for the sake of winning. That’s absurd. To face all the shit that they have just to win a few races for a couple years that will get them nowhere? Certainly not a spot on an Olympic team. Or to face that any records will not be recognized or have an asterisk associated with it. I don’t buy that argument.
I agree that those who typically start these threads are just piling on. They use this to create victims of trans people.
Because they've already tried to convince everyone that their children are victims of the gay/trans community. Even if said kids never even see a trans person. I'm reminded of the website designer who won in the rogue Supreme Court over an issue that 'might' come up in the future, but was not even in existence at the time.
I come at this solely as one who coached youth sports for years. I had a girl on my youth basketball team who looked like a boy. She had short hair and was one of the best athletes on the squad. She was too young to be gay or straight, but I knew at that age that she was most certainly gay. Because there was no youth basketball for girls, she played with the boys.
In the name of fairness, (which is what Title IX is all about) she played anywhere she could.
I also coached Little League with girls on my team. Again...no girl's league. At 10-12 some of them were better than the boys.
So I know first hand what goes on with kids in sports, as well as how the ethics I instilled followed them into high school/college.
Some of those who are directly affected by trans athletes spent most of their lives dreaming of competing at the highest levels. It's easy for socially liberal people to 'poo poo' the poor athletes who lose to men.
Conflating fairness with hatred is tricky. Because most who speak out against current trans guidelines get lumped in with the assholes.
I'm quite sure that it will get worked out in the next two or three years. Right now it isn't exactly fair.
