2008, isn't that considered new business and don't most new businesses fail in the first five years?

I said I didn't know about their financial condition. The question I addressed is 'why do people care about these businesses failing'... that was plural. Not just about Fisker. To which I responded. If you can't comprehend the discussion, perhaps you should stay out of it.

Yes, many fail in the first five years. Typically because they either have a bad product/service and no matter what marketing they use, it fails as a result... or they have a great product/service but don't have a good business plan.

That said, the government should have people that understand both who in turn evaluate these businesses and make sure they have not only a viable product/service, but also the business plan in place to make it successful. The government should not be 'investing' tax payers money if those aren't in place.

Because these loans were obtained by the scam known as anthropogenic global warming, which is really just statistical deception undertaken by NASA scientists and others in order to blame humans for climate changes that have occured naturally for eons. Where is the CO2/temp correlation these days? I suggest you learn statistics and then you can see for yourself that the correlation is not what you warmers predicted.

Face it, the sceptics were right. CO2 follows temps and adds miniscule positive feedback.
Climate sensitivity to CO2 is 1/3 of what the IPCC claimed as little as 4 yrs ago.

Temp change expected from doubling CO2 (from 380 ppm) turns out to be about 2 degree Celcius and not the IPCC claimed 6 degees
