Another quiet Biden achievement

”One year old, US climate law is already turbocharging clean energy technology”

“On August 16, after the hottest June ever recorded and a scorching July, America’s long-sought response to climate change, the Inflation Reduction Act, turns one year old. In less than a year it has prompted investment in a massive buildout. Nearly 80 major clean energy manufacturing facilities have been announced, an investment equal to the previous seven years combined”

“It seems like every week there’s a new factory facility somewhere” being announced, said Jesse Jenkins, a professor at Princeton and leader of the REPEAT Project which has been deeply involved in analysis of the law.”

“We’ve been talking about bringing manufacturing jobs back to America for my entire life. We’re finally doing it, right? That’s pretty exciting,” he said.”

“The IRA is America’s most significant response to climate change, after decades of lobbying by oil, gas and coal interests stalled action, while carbon emissions climbed, creating a hotter, more dangerous world. It is designed to spur clean energy buildout on a scale that will bend the arc of U.S. greenhouse gas emissions. It also aims to build domestic supply chains to reverse China’s and other nations’ early domination of this vital sector.”

Which seems even more significant given recent trends, as said, another quiet, one of many, Biden achievements

But, but, but big Booby Bolinski told Sean that Biden was the big man ……….

Republicans hate clean energy.

Oh, I'm smart enough, you're just not honest enough...

The reason that I said that you're just smart enough to understand, is because you are posting some ambiguous and nebulous statements that can mean what ever you want them to mean, and apparently you don't know the difference. Do you understand that?????

Hello archives,

Wait till the infrastructure bill starts taking effect

That's the kind of stuff that makes people proud to be American. A world leader in dealing with global warming. That's how it should be. We sure caused enough of it.

Oh, so doing nothing then is the answer, don’t do what is beneficial, do what the other guy does, I think most learned as kids that is not a beneficial outlook

So put more restrictions on your own people even though it won't change a single thing.

That sounds smart.

That's great news, thanks. Real news media needs to start reporting more on this stuff.

Meanwhile, on Fox: "OMG look over there! Someone's being WOKE!"

Hello Tinkerpeach,

Leaders go first. Followers follow.

Besides. China's population is shrinking. Has been for years.

No, a leader would develop a coalition of the major polluters and have them all sign an agreement.

Us reducing carbon emissions will have zero effect on the climate unless places like China and India do it also.

They aren't going to follow our lead lol.

Since Biden came to office:

Inflation has hit 50 year highs, and is still running above what it was before he took office.
Mortgage rates are at a 50 year high too in the same period.

The whole push by the Joke administration for the Greentard agenda and economy-- a big part of the Idiot Ruination Act-- is nothing but an economy breaking failure that will eventually ruin the country. I'll add, it will not accomplish what the retards on the Left think it will either.

"Clean energy" as the Left defines it is an utterly unaffordable failure. Solar and wind are grotesquely expensive and cannot supply our needs, now, or ever. They just don't work. The radical Left is anti- virtually everything else in energy production so their concepts and plans will lead to disaster.

You have Joke Biden, a senile dumbfuck, and he is stupid--a good indicator of that is his short temper when challenged, and his inability to articulate any sort of off-the-cuff response to questions requiring actual subject knowledge.

People who are comfortable with their level of intellect know when to say they don't know something. They know when to listen. Biden does neither. He truly thinks he's the smartest guy in the room and it pisses him off to no end when he's show up to be the stupid fuck he is.

Wouldn't it be a better world if only we had you to solve all of these problems.

Ad hominem means nothing. I can't solve the world's problems, but I do know that when it comes to electricity, solar and wind won't work. The math proves it. If you want a source of power that doesn't emit carbon dioxide, then you have to go with nuclear. There is no other widescale use choice available.

That's a pretty dark crystal ball.

The optimistic version is much cheerier.

People the world over realize we have to get on board and change our ways. The USA leads and they see that it works for the USA and they want to do their part.

There's very green money to be made going green!

The UN agrees we have to take action. Most of the nations of the world agree action must be taken. Really, the only thing in dispute is how much and how quickly. We are already feeling the effects of climate change and it's only going to get way worse until we turn things around.

Let’s guess; Breitfarts, ImfoWars, Gateway, Fox, NYP, Blaze, etc., or some blogger living in his mother’s basement

Somehow it is terrible when a Chinese firm invests in American manufacturing, if you're a Reichwing idiot. But it's just fine if it's a Korean, Japanese, German, British, etc.

Wonder if PMP cried about this way back when?

Coming to America: Foreign Manufacturers Looking to Produce in the U.S.

There’s been buzz about Keer Group lately, the Chinese textile company that opened a cotton mill this year in South Carolina. China has long been seen as the global capital of textile manufacturing, due in part to their low production costs and seemingly endless supply of cheap labor. But Keer Group found the rising costs in China made it difficult to grow in its hometown of Hangzhou. Wages there have been steadily increasing, energy costs are rising, and shipping costs are growing higher. Textile operations in China are actually starting to become unprofitable. So production was moved to America. And Keer Group is not alone. JN Fibers Inc., also of China, is building a plant in South Carolina. Indian textile manufacturer, ShriVallabh Pittie Group, is building a factory in Georgia.

Biden inherited inflation - and the worst jobs situation in modern history.

He has added close to 13 million jobs, and inflation has gone down.

Sorry that this doesn't seem to be good news for conservatives. I'll tell ya - if Trump was President w/ the same improvement, we'd never hear the end of how this is the best economy in history.

It's a good thing that we have an energy expert like you to advise us.

Then what do you do about this?

China has been the leading producer of green energy in the last decade but they are also the biggest polluter in the last decade and are currently on a rampage to open new coal mines.

No matter what we do it isn't going to offset what they are doing in any shape or form.

It makes no sense to put restrictions on Americans that are going to have no benefit.
