Another: SWING AND MISS, They tried to indict her again... Grand Jury FAILED!

I don’t know of any recourse, they can be sued for “vindictive prosecution”, but it’s a very difficult standard. Failure to get an indictment is unlikely to succeed, especially technically it doesn’t cost her any necessary attorneys fees.

Thanks. Would the same be true of multiple failures to indict for the same alleged offense?

They got the GJ to indict her once they will do it again. I suspect this particular GJ had too many Black jurors and they had jury nullification going on. There is black and white evidence that has her signature on it where she lied on the bank loan paper. In fact she has a history of making false statements on loan papers .
Under that standard, there is a lot to prosecute TACO for.

You understand that a grand jury is made up of at least 12 people and only half have to agree to indict, additionally there is no defense attorney allowed to be involved, and generally the judge is not in the courtroom.

There is 0 pushback on the allegations.

I know that lawyers and prosecutors can be sanctioned by judges for bringing frivolous or baseless lawsuits. But I'm not sure if the unindicted defendants have any protections or recourse. @Jarod, do you know anything about this?
This is certainly a vindictive indictment, which does make the likely hood of a baseless indictment more likely, so I certainly hope that there are recourse for the defendants. Like I said before, this is Trump's gestapo DOJ trying to appease their fuhrer.

I understand how the GJ works and if they have their jurors are sympathetic to the politics of a defendant there can be jury nullification. Do you understand the GJ indicted Trish the first time around. There is no reason to believe it won't happen again.

So the Crazy Trump gestapo DOJ is going to try again with groundless charges.
