A student was shot to death at a Mississippi State University residence hall late Saturday night, prompting campus-wide alerts as authorities searched for suspects who fled the scene.


University spokeswoman Maridith Geuder said police received a call about the shooting at Evans Hall around 10 p.m. Saturday.


The victim was taken to a hospital where he subsequently died.

A description of the killers would be more helpful in solving the crime than what the victim was wearing....

At least they told us there were 3 males and the make and color of the car they escaped in....its a beginning....

The suspects are 3 Black males, Blabo.

Maybe if a neighborhood watch captain did the shooting there'd be no manhunt.

Mississippi State University student John Sanderson, 21, of Madison was discovered by campus police with “serious injuries.” He later died at a local hospital. Three black suspects are still at large.

According to the Clarion-Ledger, John Sanderson arrived at OCH Regional Medical Center at 10:20 p.m. Doctors worked on him for 40 minutes. He was pronounced dead at 11:03 p.m. A person of interest has been identified and the weapon has been recovered.

According to the Clarion-Ledger, John Sanderson was found with multiple gun shot wounds outside a dorm room at Evans Hall about about 10 p.m. Bill Kibler, vice president of student affairs, said John Sanderson is a first year student at MSU and transferred there from Holmes Community College. Police aren’t ready to release identifiable information or video from cameras at Evans Hall entrance.

Never mind, nothing to see here, just another white guy shot and killed by three men that might look like Obama's son if he had one.
