Anti Science?

LMAO... obviously you didn't even read the piece. Do show us what in the article it is that you think is 'screeching' or an 'ad hom' attack. Then do show us the political affiliation and lean of the author of the piece.

From the FIRST freaking paragraph:

"In reality, he is like an Emo-haircut wearing kid dressed in black insisting he is an outsider while he dresses like all the rest of them."

Of course you'll just deny that this is an ad hom.

Nip, nip, nip....how many evengelicals do you see on the left?

You're not reading the link you provided correctly. It's showing that 52% of Repubs believe in strict creationism It's not stating that 48% beleive in evolution.

Be that as it may, you're parsing and splitting hairs. Vast numbers of those on the right simply don't believe in vast sweeps of mainstream science for a far larger degree then those on the left do.

You are wrong moron. The other two options were that 'humans evolved with Gods help' and 'humans evolved without God' .... BOTH of those sets believe in evolution. Do take a look at the Dems answers. About the same percent of Dems/Independents/Reps believe that 'humans evolved with the help of God'.

Now when you conisder that evolutionary theory is foundational to the entire science of biology to then equate a handful of lunatic fringe on the left who may not believe in vaccination with the tens of millions of people on the right who do not believe in the foundational building blocks of an entire science is beyond ludicrous and is down right laughable!

from the article...
Pres. Obama did not accept the science that vaccines didn't cause Autism, yet he still got elected in 2008. Was he 'turning his back on the Enlightenment' the way Republicans supposedly are?

is Obama one of the 'lunatic fringe on the left' you are referring to Mutt?

I'd like to see some of the questions posed without any reference to God whatsoever. Something like "humans evolved by natural selection". There's something about the word "God" in all the choices that strikes me as trying to direct the answer.

I think most people realize that the third choice is the natural selection. That said, I wouldn't argue your point as it does highlight how the wording of questions might affect poll responses.
