I have been here a while & have posted along side you quite often & we have always been cool, for the most part, eventhough we may not have agreed.....

I honestly don't know what your talking about here.. I haven't been in any party in several years & my views, like yours don't necessarily line up well w/ either party..

Well, that's a pretty good post. I agree and I'll admit I was wrong to snap at you and label you with some broad reaching conclusion over the injection of a tiny subject. I gotta work on better online manners and maybe this is another wake up call. I should thank you. Thanks

I read another article that cited the 704 cases and went to say that only 500 of those cases were unvaccinated. 2/7 cases were people who had been vaccinated. What do you think of those failure rates?

That is only half the problem. Just because one isn’t vaccinated doesn’t guarantee one will get the disease

One has to be exposed. Where is the exposure coming from if the disease was eliminated in 2000?

Take your time to think about it

I will give you a hint. Measles is transmitted human to human.

BTW the map shown by Scowlwoman also happens to correlate to sanctuary cities. Coincidence?

I don't know the exact reasons, but often times ppl only had one shot, two is necessary to dramatically increase your odds of not getting it..

After they started saying it was irradiated many stopped getting the second shot, unfortunately..

Mumps outbreaks can still occur in highly vaccinated U.S. communities, particularly in settings where people have close, prolonged contact, such as universities and close-knit communities. During an outbreak, public health authorities may recommend an additional dose of MMR for people who belong to groups at increased risk for mumps. An additional dose can help improve protection against mumps disease and related complications.

While there are not many studies available, most people who do not respond to the rubella component of the first MMR dose would be expected to respond to the second dose.
