Any Cons left?

no, because the religion of their choice would be attempting to remove the rights of some people by redefining who is human and who is not. something that nobody is allowed to do, no matter how much of a majority you have.

Who is human based on todays standard, but that was not so clear 100 years ago. Many Americans believed that Black people were not full humans, that is the base reason slavery was considered acceptable.

you expect me to answer on the machinations of an entire world from over 100 years ago. how can anyone do that? it was a wrong that was eventually righted, was it not? 'human' is easily definable by reasonable people. are you unreasonable?

Im simply trying to point out that rights are limited, im using extremes' to make my point. Its all a balancing test. You have a right to do anything you want, in my opinion, until what you are doing affects someone else in a material and negative way. That is my basic premise on freedom.

Jarod is an idiot who posts threads like this because it makes him feel special in his special little fantasy world that he dwells in.

but what you're suggesting (banning possession of items) goes too far. my simple possession of an M16 doesn't affect you in a material or negative way. and rights are not limited because nobody has a right to infringe on anothers rights.

It's easy, if you would simply address it without the fluff. Jarod's scenario clearly violates the 14th amendment.

That's not a limit on rights, it's the definition.

These are some really deep questions that Jarod is feeding STY. So deep, in fact, that the only one retarded enough to take them seriously is Stringy.

Are there any Conservatives left here that can hold an argument?

Damocles is close to a conservative and used to be good in an argument, but he is barely here anymore and when he is here he does not discuss anything.

Dixie was banned.

Supercandy cant hold an argument and got so ass whipped recently he is shy to engage.

Nobody else can really keep consistent to discuss anything.
What do you want to argue about, Jarod? At the moment, current events are simply bread and circuses. The deeper we slide into the ooze of the Obama era, the easier it is to recognize the signs of entropy, to which all systems are subject to. I thought that simply by virtue of being Americans, and thereby having the ability to reflect on our history freely and critically, we would be able to recognize entropy's approach, and we would at least be able to postpone its full effects. I may have been mistaken on that account, but let's hope not. None of you progressives are concerned about this in the least. You're absolutely mesmerized by all these meaningless little social baubles that are being dangled in front of your eyes. You prattle on about gay marriage and legalization of marijuana, abortion, Obamacare, racism, and gun control. And, oh, let's not forget about "climate change"! Excuse me if I find it difficult to get excited about this trivial crap. I really do make an effort, but I seem to lose interest in this stuff very quickly. Do not mistake this for victory on your part. In my case, it is nothing but boredom. If it's any consolation, I do find a great deal of humor in some of the progressive responses I've read here, but there are no real "arguments" left.
