Anybody see the Barbie movie?

Does anyone else find it interesting that they would make a movie about a doll they claim is the false ideal of womanhood and is the cause of fat shaming? Didn't they say it was unhealthy for young girls to have images like Barbie with her unrealistic dimensions but now they are hyping a movie with her as the star? It seems money matters more than all that other shit I guess.

I looked it up on IMDB and just about everybody is the movie is either Barbie or Ken.

Its all in the marketing/target audience. LOTS of unhappy adults these days. Seeing something from their childhood makes them happy for a little while because it reminds them of happier times when they were young, happy, healthy, carefree without a worry in the world. Escapism.

For a family movie to be enjoyed by all, it would have to have a great cast of characters that people liked, good humor, a great script, great cinematography, a little romance, a little adventure, some kind of moral to the story, and a feel-good ending.

These are the things that people say they like the most about this movie. So, it must be a pretty good movie.
