It got Comey to record the truth. That truth demonstrated that Orangetweet tried to quash the investigation of Flynn. It got a special prosecutor. And, since it's impossible to know now that Mueller has the memos, it may make that Trump WAS not under investigation, a past tense. Sweet, huh?

I don't care one way or another if there is a special counsel. Comey didn't have to do his illegal leaks for that to happen. That's all I'm saying. Why are the libs so excited about a special counsel anyway? Everything they do is completely secret, you're not going to see any daily news reports on what they've gathered or found. Plus, they have a tremendous incentive to get a prosecution to justify their expenses and efforts. On the other hand if they find some kind of critical evidence say in Russia, it would be unobtainable and couldn't seek an indictment. But, who am I to say? Comey's the one who rolled the dice, let the chips fall where they may.

I haven't lost anything, bitch. The biggest losers in the testimony and release of the memos are Sessions and Orangetweet. Comey comes out smelling like a rose. We get a special prosecutor. Trump is shown to be an even bigger liar (if that's possible). And Sessions is in even bigger trouble.

Comey fired, leak plugged, Loretta got some splainin to do, probable obstruction charges against Comey/Loretta, possibly Bill and Hillary.

You lose so much it looks like win from there.
 
We know for a fact that Trump's tax returns would reveal something so damaging that it would be a critical blow not just to his presidency, but to his brand and to the brand of his family. Hence why he'll never voluntarily release them. It would make all other previous allegations (including rape) pale by comparison.

He has no tapes, and Comey didn't 'leak' anything that trump didn't first 'leak' via Twitter, and the CBS interview.

You can't 'leak' something that is already public knowledge.

There's definitely a chance Comey had his office raided. It's not like Trump or Comey would tell the world if it was. If you think about it, why wouldn't Trump have it raided?

The prospect puts a different spin on the 'tapes' Tweet and it could mean Trump holds the Ace on Comey. You really can't tell who had the tapes from the Tweets. Or maybe nobody has any. Who knows.

Trump is a bully and a reactionary. He says stupid things all the time to get out of an immediate situation, like saying he would 100% testify. That was just plain stupid.
 
Comey has no credibility,

Once an FBI director calls his friend, hands him a written record of his personal conversation with the President of the United States of America and asks him to leak it to the News media I think we can all agree we have a looney tune on our hands.

And anything he says from that moment on really means very little in the form of trust or truth.

No, a person realizes this is an ongoing investigation and although the FBI wasn't investigating Trump at the time, it doesn't mean other agencies weren't or aren't. We have no way of knowing till those doing the investigations are finished. We simply have to wait and see. Nixon wasn't under investigation for Watergate until he tried to cover it up. We don't what exactly what all they are finding at this point.

Do you not think given all of the leaking, electronic paper trails, loose lip Russians, etc that if there was even a shred of evidence that Trump did anything wrong we may have at least a theory.
