Are Biden and Harris the biggest chumps to ever hold office ?

Great! Love Jimmy Carter! One of America's greatest presidents!

That is proof you are either oblivious, or insane. I can't see you meaning it as satire from your posting history. Name one reasonably important thing Carter did during his term as president that had a positive outcome for the nation.

All of the bashing of Jimmy Carter comes from the Republicans- who bash all Democrats for personal pleasure and political gain.

The lie that Jimmy Carter was somehow the worst president of all time- is just the same old expected and usual cliche's by hateful and resentful Republicans.

After the embarrassment of the Republican Richard Nixon presidency- the Republicans turned hateful and vindictive and looking for vengeance. Jimmy Carter is a victim of such hateful vengeance!

I don't know if Carter was the worst President ever, but he's certainly near the bottom. From his inept and completely wrong handling of energy, like the reviled 55 mph national speed limit, to the utter failure of the Department of Education he created, to the Iran hostage situation, Carter was fucked up like a soup sandwich. Nixon wasn't bad as President, he was evil as an individual. Bill Clinton is cut from that same mold.

Your opinions are those of an idiot- BUT THANKS FOR EXPOSING YOURSELF!

You are simply politically scorned and do not know the difference between hateful politics and reality!

She claims to be a teacher. If so, I feel badly for her students. No doubt good teachers will have to "clean up" after her.
Retired teacher;) You shouldn't feel badly for anyone.... Nor did anyone have to "clean up" when I left......what a silly things to say....;)

Carter spelled to beginning of the end of the Soviet Empire, he slapped sanctions on Iran, and how is the Dept of Education so bad?

Wrong. Carter emboldened the Soviet Union who spread their political power overseas like never before.

Carter accelerated the drawdown of the US military post Vietnam to a point where morale within the services had fallen to a new low.

His dealing with Iran can be summed up with the failure of his allowing the Ayatollah to return and send the country into revolution that led to the debacle of the Iran hostage crisis.

As for the Department of Education...

Since its implementation, overall spending on education has skyrocketed while outcomes like test scores have remained static or fallen.

Federally mandated education programs likewise have added immense costs to education while doing nothing to improve it.

It gets worse. Since the Department of Education has exponentially increased the ease of getting student loans for college, the cost of tuition at universities across the nation has increased exponentially far in excess of inflation and now student debt is a major problem. Here's the thought experiment example of why:

A university charges $500 for a course. Students are paying $500 cash to take the course. The government (Department of Education) comes along and says they'll back low interest loans for that $500 so more students can take the course. The university can't handle more students in the course, but they go ahead and raise the cost of it to $1000 and coach students paying $500 in cash how to get a government loan for $500 to cover the rest of the cost...
Universities are a business. They are about making money, even public universities. This is why most have non-teaching PhD's and such on their staff doing research and other stuff. That brings in huge piles of cash. So, why shouldn't they also take advantage of student loans?

The bottom line here is, that the Department of Education doesn't do anything to make education in the US better but it does make a lot of education related businesses and people rich with government funding.

The war in Afghanistan against Soviets entrenched them to fatigue & that started with Carter.

So, I guess only the elite should be able to go to college?

The Russians were only emboldened into doing what they saw as an easy land grab at the time due to Carter's weakness. Neither they nor Carter could have foreseen the morass it became for them.

Even with massive aid, only about a third of the population is college material. Aside from that, you don't need a college degree to get a good paying job. You do need a fairly good level of intelligence though. The "elite" will go to college regardless, often on their money and status if not intellect. Biden and Trump both prove that. Hell, Obama, Bush, Gore, and a whole raft of other politicians prove it too.

21% interest rates, double digit inflation, car lines at gas stations, the Iran hostage crisis.....the demmycrats failure to deal with any problems that arose......

Double digit inflation- If you were a Business or a Property owner- Your Equity Increased enormously- And when there is an oil embargo- Gasoline goes up- and that causes everything else to go up. When Gasoline is in short supply, Gasoline is rationed. JIMMY CARTER DID NOT CAUSE THE OIL EMBARGO which led to gasoline being in short supply. - IRAN DID!

Jimmy Carter did not kidnap the Americans and held them for ransom- IRAN DID!

21% interest rates you say? I bet there is not a credit card in your wallet that charges you less than 21% interest monthly right now. Jimmy Carter did not set interest rates- THE FREE MARKET ESTABLISHES THOSE. SO DO YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH FREE MARKETS NOW?

It seems you blamed Jimmy Carter for things he had nothing to do with what-so-ever!

NEXT!
