LOL, Rune is so fucking dumb he thought Tekkybitch's kid was the one in the apocryphal HuffPo story...which says 2 year olds have no sexual identity.

My Aunt said she was born gay. I have no reason to believe otherwise.

Why would they say otherwise? Ten they would have to admit they chose to be abnormal. This way their abnormality isn't their fault.

It most certainly is a choice. They choose to go against biology and evolution

Who cares?

It is more than likely that one is predisposed towards it. If it were not then the conversion therapies would not fail so miserably.

I can't speak for others. I know my Aunt's story. It wasn't a choice. Other than that I really don't give a sh*t.

There is nothing unusual about being born with a mental illness.
Of course there is nothing unusual about developing a mental illness later in life either
for a variety of reasons....

You were born mentally deficient and now you are senile. But, that business about it not being unusual is just what they told you to spare your feelings.

Are they?
What a stupid question. Let me guess....you skipped biology class. Right? All people are sexual beings and virtually all consensual sexual behavior is natural. Only an idiot would ask if someone is born gay. The answer is that obvious to anyone with the IQ adequate to rub two sticks together. Only a staggering moron could ask such a question.

We're all born sexual, we learn sexual patterns and preferences as we grow older, albeit still at a very young age. Though I have no doubt that some people are genetically predisposed towards homosexuality the majority of evidence indicates that it is learned behavior. Even that though is a gross over simplification.

The problem with the whole question is the moralistic view point being applied to biology. Only, as I stated earlier, an ignorant moron would do that. Such questions are predicated on a bias of homosexuality being an abnormal or immoral behavior when from a biological perspective it's a perfectly normal behavior homologous in most of the mammalian species. To even ask the question is a logical fallacy. We are innately sexual beings and are all born that way.

See Wacko.....this is a perfect example of what I mean about ignorant morons and their logical fallacies.

What does it matter if they aren't? Was I born attracted to Latina women, or do I choose to be? In either case, it doesn't matter. It's my right to associate with whomever I want however I want.

If by that you mean genetically predisposed....well that's not true. Though I'm sure genetics do play a factor sexuality is far more complex than that. That's also sort of a misconception of how genetics work. All sorts of environmental factors can influence the base genetic information and thus provide significantly different results.

Most of the evidence known supports that it is learned behavior. The illogical response by many who have a cultural cowardice and fear of homosexuality is that because it is learned behavior it is immoral and can be unlearned. That's simply not true. Can you unlearn speaking English? Can you unlearn your food and dietary preferences? Can you unlearn your cultural and social patterns of behavior? Can you unlearn to read and write? You see my point....it might be possible to do so but it would be pretty damned difficult. The same is true of learned sexual preferences.
