But will it matter electorally? At some point voters need to take the cue that the major media goes to bat for the establishment. And as Trump put it, 'they don't have your interest in mind.'

But yeah, the subtext is that the major media have taken a beating over this. They're reputation wasn't great to begin with and Trump exposed them for the shameless shills that they are.

They were in the tank the whole way; and now, so is their reputation.

Trump can say what he wants about trade deals because he's ignorant of the process. He can't do it on his own. He needs "advise and consent" of the Senate for any trade deals and at this point much of the GOP is against him. He is systematically alienating the very people whose support he needs if he becomes president.

It is better in some ways that most us rags... I particularly like Robert Fisk's reporting from the ME... No one is better IMHO...

Most of the media/large corporations have a huge stake in the system...

Their primary identity -what is the "carve out" -is as a religious corp,
